To attach an image to your post simply;
1. Click the paper clip icon on the bottom left corner of the message box. 2. Left click on the Browse bar in the top right hand corner of the add attachment box. 3. Select the image out of your computer. 4. Click on "Attach".
Your image will be uploaded into your message. The maximum file size for an image in the gallery is 97 kilobits. The gallery requires the file to not have any spaces in the image name. So... If you were to load and image titled hutch soda the actual name can not have a space between hutch and soda. "Hutch soda" will be hutchsoda. Images must be bitmap or jpeg files.
Everyone loves to see newly discovered treasures or to wonder at the mysterious items recovered from days long past. Post a picture of your favorite find or the one you can't figure out. Have fun!!! |

Um , I hate to sound dumb but how big is 97 kilobits? Is there a size format like 300 by 450 that relates to that number? |

Hey Bob,
The image size this gallery will accept is substantial. Roughly four times the size of the images in your gallery would be the maximum. You should be able to right click on any image on your computer and then click on properties and it will tell you how large the image is.
Let me know if you have trouble. You've loaded so many images in the Hutchinson soda gallery that I think you will have no trouble if you try it.

| Okay. For you people who complain that they cannot load an image because there are no instructions, I revive this line. I will not mention any names except to say that the person is from 'France' (but does not have a french last name), and he has a first name that ryhmes with "dim". |

| Okay. So this is for that hypothetical person, I'll call him 'Jim' for lack of a better term, who needs upload instucts. Press the underlined upload below. (This appears on your screen while you are typing a reply). Depending on your connection speed, a box will eventually come up that says "FILE UPLOAD" at the top. You click on 'Browse...' when you do that it will show some junk from your computer. You can go to the 'look in' column at the top to change where the image comes from. If you press the arrow on the right of the look in column, you should see a breakdown of how your computer is set up. My files are saved in my "C" drive under kodak pictures. I can use kodak's imaging software to crop my pictures. Then I personally use other imaging software to downsize the image as Tom F mentioned earlier. I hope this helps you mister Jim K (or whoever you are). |

Hey Steve I found out that it can't be over 100 kb. I had to make sure that I cropped it less than 100 or it would fail loading. The program that I am using is photo deluxe by adobe, it is very friendly to use and crops easily to what ever size you need it to be. |

Hi Jim,
Hit the upload button. I have a big family event today but I will call you early in the evening and we can walk through it together.
Mark I am going to work on bottle stuff tonight. I will get every thing you send loaded tonight. For the gallery images leave them large. I crop them on the way in. I crop them tight so as not to waste space in these huge galleries and then make them 300 or 400 pixels wide. Yes this forum is set at 100k.
