Posted - 04 Dec 2007 : 22:36:36 I found this bottle over ten years ago! Wow. In my minds eye, it was my first really old bottle. However, I had already logged many dives and I had found five hutches on one tank already. (I called them 'corkers' though).
I showed a few people at my first bottle show. Nobody knew anything specific about the brand (and nobody cared very much either). But it is a neat old bottle. There is a brush on the inside with a wire that extended into the cork. Presumably that makes this an early shoe polish? I have still never seen another one, but maybe they are common somewhere else??
Check out the whittling, the odd crudity in the neck. It's a nice little antique. Anybody know anything?
