Just a little 'buyer beware' for people out there purchasing antiques. I bought this old Werrbach from another collector, even though it is outside my main collection, because I think that those old clays are pretty cool. So far, so good. Take a look.

When I was getting it, I asked if the bottle had been repaired. The seller told me "No". When I got it home, upon careful inspection of the mouth, I decided it had been repaired. New clay had been added and painted onto an original pottery bottle that was probably found without a blob or with serious blob damage. It was actually pretty hard to tell. I contacted the seller to ask him if he pulled it out of the ground like that. He said "No". He told me that he already "... told me that it was repaired and that there would be no refunds". Way to burn bridges! But my loss is your benefit. Be careful out there. If you smell a fish, send it swimming!
