Last night, Tom and I both dove Pewaukee (although not really together). Tom found some stuff, but I really didn't. I think it's time that I stopped doing that. On tank one, I got skunked. Long swim out. Long swim back. I dove a second tank very late. Diving in the dark was aweful. I couldn't see anything. I couldn't tell where I was going. I found nothing, probably doubled the danger, and took time away from work I could have been doing at home for nothing. That sucks!

Quit diving Reimer's???Rubbish!!!!! I can relate to Bob's frustration though.....Many a time have I come out of there with bleeding fingernails, and nothing to show for it. That was back when I used to dig down into the floor of the lake near shore. There are alot of bottles there, but I simply cannot dig like that anymore. I already feel the arthritis starting in the Wintertime and I guarantee it is from 5 years of using my hands as if they were metal tools. Anyway,
I have had good fortune diving off Reimer's lately, and yesterday was no exception. Here is a shot a few of the Blobs from last night. In the end, It seems like we all come due, and then we all go through slumps in finding bottles. I am sure that is what is happening to Bob right now. All it takes is one great bottle, and the whole year is yours.

IL update: well I just finished my Solo Diving Class. I was diving a bunch locally for a couple of weeks but now the entire Chain of Lakes is off limits. Besides high water , the sewerage contamination is a concern. The alge bloom was heavy a week ago, not good. So the only diving that looks somewhat safe is inland waters not contected to rivers. If I wanted to send photos.........who should I send them too?? Jimk
