Tom and I did a two tank dive today in North Lake.  It was my first time in the water there.  Tom found a nice Hartford crown beer (which was at least local to the area) and a nice old Heddon lure.  I got pretty much skunked on our first tank. I had a rubber coated anchor.  For our second tank - right at the end - in some mushy stinky algae and weeds  I started finding a few bottles. I managed to find a Fed Miller aqua crown which is a pretty good find.  Maybe my luck has finally turned this year.  The walk back to our parking spot was hard work through some heavy mud.  It was brutal  but I'm happy we came back with something. Maybe some bottle pics later . . . |
