1785? Milwaukee Beer Bottling Company Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Another very rare antique bottle from Dan Gross. Thanks, Dan. This bottle is embossed, "MILWAUKEE BEER BOTTLING CO. EAU CLAIRE, WIS." (in five lines). Note that the word "BEER" is on a line of it's own and that it is not arched. That means that there are at least three variants of this bottle. An arched "BEER" version and one that has "BOTTLING CO." arched on the second line. (That bottle is in the gallery). This example has a ten-sided mug base (arches upward) and a 77 on the reverse hub.
