7086 Purdy's Root Beer Portage, Wis.

This bottle is the only known hutchinson from Wisconsin that actually says "ROOT BEER" in the embossing. (Many bottles contained root beer but were not so embossed.) The entire embossing reads, "PURDY'S ROOT BEER". The bottle has no city, but other antique Purdy bottles are known from Portage Wisconsin. Thanks Tim in Portage for sending in this picture.
