Pabst (Squat beer/ale), Milwaukee, Wisconsin

A squat blob embossed, "Pabst, Milwaukee" inside two circles with a, "B" and an upside down Hop leaf. Color is amber and size is approximately one pint. In 1863, Frederick Pabst, a steamship captain and Philip Best’s son-in-law, purchased a share in Phillip Best Brewing Co. He earned his keep. By 1874 Phillip Best Brewing Co. was the nation's largest brewer. Pabst was soon to be born!
