S.F. Mayer & CO West Bend Brewery

Inscription on this brown blob top beer bottle reads, “S F MAYER & CO BREWERS WEST BEND WIS.” S.F. Mayer and Company was proprietor of the West Bend Brewery. It was originally built in by B. Goetter who gave up after two years and then leased it to Christopher Eckstein. Soon thereafter, it was sold to Stephen and Charles Mayer, who carried on the business.
