Henry Meyer Bottler of Blatz, Milwaukee Beer

Inscription reads, “Henry Meyer Bottler Of Blatz’ Milwaukee Beer.” Before the early 1890s, most beer bottles were made with a “blob top,” a rounded lobe for the opening. These bottles usually came with a porcelain or cork stopper which closed using a wire bail.
