Anton Koehne Appleton WI

Anton Koehne ran a saloon and hotel at 744 Richmond in Appleton, Wisconsin. He died in October of 1918. This brown bottle has a blob top with a cord secured with a metal clasp. It probably was filled with ginger beer. The alcohol content, when produced by the traditional process can be high, up to 11%.
