Henry Nehring Fond Du Lac WI

Inscription on this brown blob top bottle reads “HENRY NEHRING FOND DU LAC WIS.” A portion of the old brewery is still around, located at the corner of East Ninth and South Marr streets IN Fond Du Lac. Henry brewed white beer in amber bottles. With prohibition they produced soda and bootlegged the beer on the side. Years ago when the building was purchased, the now-deceased elderly owner remembered all the old bottle caps on the floor!
