Inscription reads, "TWIN CITY BOTTLING WORKS GRAND RAPIDS WIS.“ The other “Twin City” was Port Edwards, located just across the river. It was big news when two bridges were constructed across the river to join the two towns. The whole area is now called Wisconsin Rapids.
