City Bottling Works Jefferson WI

This inscription on this Blob top Weiss beer bottle reads, “CITY BOTTLING WORKS JEFFERSON WIS.” The brewery opened in 1873. An ownership change occurred in 1880 and the new management kept going until 1908. It was a nice 35-year run!
