Embossing on this clear blob top bottle reads, “P H BEST BREWING CO MINNEAPOLIS BRANCH” with a high-quality hops logo. Jacob Best, Sr. retired in 1853, and in 1859, Phillip was the sole proprietor. He changed the name to the Phillip Best Brewing Company. Best’s daughter, Maria met Frederick Pabst in 1860 and married him two years later.
