Edw Mueller Two Rivers WI

This brown blob top bottle has a beautiful (and very solid) mug base. Embossing reads, “EDW MUELLER TWO RIVERS WIS.” Edward Frederick Mueller was the founder of the brewing industry in Two Rivers. He came to America in 1848. He had been a trained chemist in a brewery and distillery owned by a local Baron (not a “beer baron”…but a real baron! Edward started the first brewery in Manitowoc County. His son Richard grew up in the business and took over when his father died in 1871. That business became the R. E. Mueller Brewery.
