A. Rahr, Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Inscription is simple – “A RAHR OSHKOSH, WIS.” This wonder brewery has the distinction of being one of the first breweries in America to be partly owned and operated by women. Carl Rahr was the President of the company. Lucille Rahr was named Vice-President. Blanche Rahr was appointed Treasurer and Secretary. Lucille and Blanche Rahr were definitely two of the first female brewery executives in our country! Go for it, ladies!
