Bachelder butter churn - 4 gallon

This is a wonderful decorated churn signed by Bachelder. It is incised "OHIO STONE MANUFACTURED BY, C. BACHELDER MENASHA WIS." with a cobalt wash. It has an unusual cobalt decoration with a small separate flower to the left of the main flower. Decorated and signed churns from Bachelder are very rare and this is an exceptional example. Sold in the 1996 Jeff Skou auction, lot 174.
