C. Elser, Oshkosh,Wisconsin

Christian Elser operated the Union Brewery for many years during the mid to late 1800s. In the 1870s, it had become the largest brewery in the city. Only Schlitz and Pabst in Milwaukee produced more. Inscription reads “C ELSER OSHKOSH WIS.”
