Castalia Bottling Works, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

Inscription on this amber blob top bottle reads, “CASTALIA BOTTLING WORKS, WAUWATOSA, WIS.” Castalia Bottling Company and later as Castalia Bottling Works was a soft drink bottler. The Castalia Bottling Works operated in private Castalia Park from 1893 until 1912. It bottled mineral water straight from a spring in the park! It turned some of it into flavored soda water or beer. Castalia specialized in Weiss beer.
