This clear bottle is from the George Walter Star Brewery in Appleton, Wisconsin. The company was founded by the original Walter Martin who moved to America with his brothers from Bergfelden, Germany around the turn of the last century. The firm went out of business during prohibition, then was resurrected by his sons. Theirs was a giant brewing dynasty, the Busch of its day!
