Crown blank beer bottle with a 14

This near antique pint beer bottle is embossed W. F. & S. Mil with a 14 on the bottom. It has swirls of yellow color in the glass. This style of embossing (with the writing straight across the diameter of the bottom) is likely newer than the more typical ring of embossing around the base. This example is a blank with a machine made crown (not applied or tooled). While it is possible that the 14 represents a date (1914), it is probably just a mold marking as the bottles do appear with other numbers.
