Eckhart, Ph. Fort Atkinson

Wayne Kroll discovered Phillip Eckhart from Fort Atkinson purchased beer stamps in 1867. The only reason someone would do that is if they were brewing beer. These bottles appears to fit that date. All of the known examples so far have come out of the river in Fort Atkinson. Eckhart was presumably a small operator and may have used facilities in one of the other Fort breweries. No other records of his business have surfaced.
