FRED MILLER

Inscription reads, “FRED MILLER BREWING CO MILWAUKEE WIS.” Fred ran his brewery from 1888 until Prohibition went into effect in 1920. Many local breweries were devastated and didn’t have the capacity or funds to convert to other types of production (soft drinks, etc.). Fred Miller was one of them. He never reopened.
