George Walter’s Star Brewery in Appleton, Wisconsin was a giant family-owner brewing dynasty, the Anheuser Busch or Miller Brewing of its day. The company went out of business in 1975. This brown bottle has a blob-top design. Star Brewery products are being kept alive by the Appleton Brewing Company, a local micro-brewery.
