J.B. & A. Maxfield Milwaukee Wisconsin Stoneware Jug 2 gallon

Stoneware two gallon Milwaukee Jug photo courtesy of Scott Riser fall 2008. This one is a little different in that the decoration is brown looking like an Albany slip glaze not the typical cobalt. This one is incised with the Maxfield partnership stamp, "J.B. & A. MAXFIELD MILWAUKEE" The two gallon capacity mark is the principal decoration on this Milwaukee antique stoneware jug.
