J. B. & A. Maxfield and J. B. Maxfield stamps

These are some examples of the stamps used on Maxfield stoneware. The company and city lines appear to be separate stamps because the alignment varies. There are also some other stamp variations used and occasionally the word Milwaukee is spelled "MILWAUKIE". Most stamps on decorated pieces were highlighted with cobalt.
