Joe Evans Star Bottling Works

Here is a super rare aqua, squat hand finished crown from Eau Claire, WI. The embossing reads "Joe Evans Star Bottling Works" in the outer part of the slug plate. In the inner circle it reads, "Trade Mark Eau Claire, WIS." with a star. The bottle has a twelve sided mug base and carries no glass maker. This bottle is different from the two squaty Eau Claire, WI. crown pictures previously contributed to the site. The other two do not read "Star Bottling Works" and do not have a second circle embossed on the inside with the words "Trade Mark". I've never seen another example or shard of this bottle variant in 17 years of digging/ collecting and I discovered this one example recently. I think that this may be the oldest 7-8 oz. crown top from Joe Evans in Eau Claire. I think it predates the 1904/ 03 squat variants and may even predate 1900 by a year or two.
