Liebscher Fort Atkinson

This is an outstanding example of a civil war period clay beer bottle from Fort Atkinson, Wis. It was found in the Rock river deep in mud and was so black that you could hardly read the name, but it cleaned up incredibly well. It is stamped LIEBSCHER FORT ATKINSON" in a banner. It is very rare.
