Muench Brewing Appleton WI

This brown bottle is labelled “George Walter, Appleton, Wisconsin. This Bottle Not to be sold.” The Muench Brewery opened in 1893. It closed only six years later in 1899. Apparently, brewing ran in the family because this brewing operation was preceded bvy the Carl Muench Brewery 1860-82 and the Mrs. Wallie Muench Brewery 1882-84.
