New Ulm - C. Dauffenbach & Co. 3 gallon crock signed

The stamp was reworked to remove Steckert, which apparently dates this piece to 1870. The cobalt decoration appears to be the work of Christian himself. This is an extremely rare and interesting piece of decorated New Ulm stoneware.
