P Schwartzenbart and Co Manitowoc WI

Inscription on this brown Blob Top Bottle reads, “P SCHWARTZENBART & CO MANITOWOC WIS.” Schwarzenbart Botg. Works was a soft drink bottler in Manitowoc. Peter Schwartzenbart founded the Schwarzenbart Soda Water and Weiss Beer factory in the late 1860s. He immigrated from Germany and he operated the factory until his death in 1909.
