Peter Barth Wholesale Liquors Milwaukee, Wis

This is a variant of the Pater Barth flask. Most Peter Barth's known came from the Chase Valley Glass house in Bay View Wisconsin... An absolute favorite of all Wisconsin antique bottle collectors. This strap sided flask does not have the Chase Valley mark on the bottom. It also has a ring around the slug plate presumably because a washer was used to make a half pint slug plate fit the pint mold. While much more rare than the Chase Valley version this bottle is not a one of a kind... At least one other is know in Jon Steiner Jr's collection. A nice side light to this bottle is the very light yellow/orange amber color. Simply beautiful. Since going from soda bottles to color to whatever I think is cool from Wisconsin this is my first strap sided flask. Bought as a curiosity by a couple who just liked old stuff (Not sure where) then sat on a partition wall eight feet off the ground for years. Found in Cedarburg Wisconsin fifteen or more years ago.
