Phillip Best Brewing Co Milwaukee

Jacob Best, Sr. retired in 1853, and in 1859, his son Phillip was the sole owner. The company name was changed to the Phillip Best Brewing Company. Best’s daughter, Maria met Frederick Pabst in 1860 and married him two years later. Pabst! The name sounds familiar!
