? Theo Reis, Sherwood, Wisconsin

Here is a nice light green, half pint, hutch soda bottle from Dan Gross embossed, "Theo Reis, Sherwood, WIS."

The numbers, "214" are embossed on the front of the bottle near the base. This is a numbering stye that was used by the William Franzen & Son (W.F. & S. markings) glass factory of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I believe it is of the W.F.& S. origin and that the bottle possibly dates to c.1914. This may be one of the few datable bottles that they made with codes such as; 212, 213, 214, 215, etc. The last two digits may be the last two digits of the year (in the 20th century) that the particular bottle was manufactured.
