This blob top bottle is embossed “FRANK HENNEN SPRUCE BEER FOND DU LAC WIS.” This bottle is hard to trade because of the name Frank Hennen. If brewed at the Spruce Beer Brewery, it may have been produced during the period of 1874 through 1887. The name is mentioned is any record, so Frank may not have lasted very long!
